Install ETCD

Install on Linux

Build etcd from Scratch

git clone -b v3.7.0 https://github.com/etcd-io/etcd.git
cd etcd
./scripts/build.sh
export PATH="$PATH:${PWD}/bin"

Download the binary

For Linux AMD64
read -p "Enter the etcd version: " Version
wget https://github.com/etcd-io/etcd/releases/download/v${Version}/etcd-v${Version}-linux-amd64.tar.gz
For Linux ARM64
read -p "Enter the etcd version: " Version
wget https://github.com/etcd-io/etcd/releases/download/v${Version}/etcd-v${Version}-linux-arm64.tar.gz
